1880s Store and Dwelling

The main building was constructed as a store in the 1880s.

The secondary (rear) enclosure was added around 1900, possibly to convert the store to a dwelling.

Subsequent modifications occurred until restoration in 2005. By this time the building fabric was in poor condition with extensive termite damage and water ingress damage. Verandahs had been enclosed and substandard additions had further obscured the original building form.

Conservation was not possible. Re-construction made the original circa 1900 building form legible.
