Conversion of Dairy

Adaptive Re-use of Heritage Building.

A heritage listed dairy forms the basis of this rural retreat. The dairy was retained as living area and bedroom. A new corrugated steel gable roof addition, separated from the original by a glazed corridor contains kitchen and wet areas.

A sandstone terrace to the north of the living area references the dairy yard.

This project won a Shoalhaven Building Design Award in 2008.
